Olivier DEMESSEMAKERS

After an interesting career of more than 20 years in the Belgian Air Force, where he worked for the Belgian Royal family, among others, Olivier decided to change course in 2013 and move to France with his family to start a luxury B&B.

Bolstered by the experience of 5 years living in the United States, his perseverance, perfectionism and a good dose of people skills, the B&B became a recognized name in the region and for almost 10 years Olivier managed to offer a unique experience to a varied international clientele. This knowhow enables him to perfectly guide his clients through the process of starting a similar adventure.

Montmoreau, a small village in the Sud Charente, 30 km south of Angouleme, has been the new home base since 2013, where Olivier is active in the municipal council and associative life and where, since 2016, he’s been working in real estate before joining the Maxwell Baynes team in 2021.

Olivier is fluent in French, Dutch and English, something that certainly benefits successful communication in the world of international real estate.

A true entrepreneur who prides himself on his knowledge of his beautiful region and who puts ‘helping people’ at the top of his list of priorities.

Na een interessante carrière van meer dan 20 jaar bij de Belgische luchtmacht, waar hij onder andere werkte voor het Belgische koningshuis, besloot Olivier in 2013 het roer om te gooien en naar Frankrijk te verhuizen om er met zijn gezin een charme B&B op te starten.

Gesterkt door de ervaring van 5 jaar in de Verenigde staten gewoond te hebben, zijn doorzettingsvermogen, perfectionisme en een flinke dosis mensenkennis groeide de B&B uit tot een begrip in de regio en wist Olivier er bijna 10 jaar een gevarieerd internationaal cliënteel een unieke ervaring te bezorgen. Deze know how stelt hem in staat om klanten, die de stap willen zetten om aan een soortgelijk avontuur te beginnen, van A tot Z bij te staan.

Montmoreau, een klein dorp in de Sud Charente, op 30 km van Angouleme, is sinds 2013 de nieuwe thuisbasis, waar Olivier actief is in de gemeenteraad en het associatieve leven en waar hij sinds 2016 actief was in de immobiliën, alvorens het Maxwell Baynes-team te vervoegen in 2021.

Olivier spreekt vloeiend Frans, Nederlands en Engels, iets wat een geslaagde communicatie zeker ten goede komt in de wereld van de ‘international real estate’.

Een ondernemer ‘pur sang’, die prat gaat op de kennis van zijn mooie streek en die ‘mensen helpen’ bovenaan zijn prioriteitenlijst heeft staan.
