About Jane

Based in the Lot-et-Garonne since 2005, Jane has spent eighteen years advising French and international clients on the sale and acquisition of properties across South-West France. Living near Duras, she has developed extensive knowledge of this area between Bordeaux and Bergerac, where she represents everything from châteaux and manoirs to country houses and character properties. A member of the Christie’s International Real Estate Masters Circle, Jane draws on both her market knowledge and a trusted local network built over many years.

Career

Jane holds a Master’s degree in Business and Marketing and began her career in the private business sector in the United Kingdom before moving to France with her family in 2005.
She subsequently moved into real estate, developing an in-depth understanding of the French buying and selling process as well as a strong professional network throughout the Lot-et-Garonne.

Jane joined Maxwell-Baynes | Christie’s International Real Estate in 2021.

Beyond work

Family life is particularly important to Jane, alongside her interests in photography, travel and French historical literature. She is also actively involved in animal welfare, volunteering at a local rescue centre and occasionally fostering dogs on a short-term basis while they wait to move on to their new homes.
