About Majid

Based on the Île de Ré, Majid combines extensive luxury hospitality experience with practical knowledge of the local market and the expectations of an international clientele.

His approach to real estate is a natural continuation of a career dedicated to hospitality, service and understanding the lifestyles that surround a property.

Career

Born in Rabat, Majid studied at Glion Institute in Switzerland before working within several renowned establishments, including the Ritz Paris, Royal Palm in Marrakech and Monastero Santa Rosa on the Amalfi Coast. These experiences led him into management roles and helped shape a highly personalised approach to hospitality.
After settling on the Île de Ré, he co-founded Ré Expériences with his wife, a high-end seasonal rental agency that now manages more than fifty villas.

This combination of local and hospitality expertise now informs his real estate work at Maxwell-Baynes | Christie’s International Real Estate.

Beyond work

Choosing the Île de Ré was also about finding a balance between family life and professional ambition. Majid is particularly drawn to the island’s preserved heritage, its pace of life and the way a place can shape both a holiday experience and a long-term life project.
