The château

Set off a quiet road and a long driveway this secluded chateau offers privacy to enjoy nature and a rural lifestyle. The unique sculpted pool is central to the buildings and is surrounded by terraces and carefully planted borders to provide space for relaxing or informal entertaining.

The chateau has been upgraded and it blends the requirements for modern living with the traditional features of beamed ceilings, large fireplaces, stone floors and large windows to fill the rooms with light.

The rooms in the main chateau flow well. There is a spacious lounge with a covered terrace off it, a dining room, a further sitting room with wine cellar, a fully fitted dining kitchen, a utility area and an office or additional living room.

At the end of the driveway before reaching the chateau, there is another pretty courtyard with a 3 bedroomed caretaker’s house at the corner and 2 separate two bedroomed apartments suitable for staff.

Within the grounds but with independent access from the road is a further house with hangar, a swimming pool and tennis court.

Grounds

In addition to the swimming pool, there are 3 lakes with jetty access a short walk down from the chateau.

There are 6 stables overlooking the smaller courtyard and further loose boxes underneath the apartments. There is a full size covered riding arena and adjacent a 6 horse walker. There are numerous fenced paddocks close by.

In the grounds also is a tennis court and a pétanque court.

There are 158 hectares of land comprising woodland, wild meadows, arable land including an area planted to truffles.
