Travelling through it the unspoilt beaches of Landes are about 1 hour distant. Less than an hour to the east is Pau, with its numerous historic attractions and regional airport and TGV station. The international airports of Bordeaux and Toulouse can be reached easily from the autoroutes which are less than 30 minutes away.
