The Covid19 pandemic saw unprecedented change across the globe, resulting in social restrictions and radical new business practices, many of which are still in place as we navigate through the latest challenges and government guidance. At Maxwell-Baynes/Christie’s International Real Estate we worked hard throughout 2020 to support our clients in the best way possible, utilising video conferencing technology, virtual property visits and videos, to enable us to continue supporting clients and resulting in a number of properties ‘sold unseen’.

For many of our global and French clients who have been impacted by travel restrictions, we have listened to your feedback and developed more solutions for viewing our luxury properties remotely.

We are pleased to announce our latest available service, 360° Virtual Tours. With dozens of 3D tour products in the market, our marketing team researched extensively the best tools available today, drawing experience from our Christie’s International Real Estate teams in the USA who have been using different 3D tours. The overwhelming result of our research was 'Matterport'.

The Matterport tours allow clients to experience a full 3D interior tour, seeing every space and fully understanding the layout, including a 3D ‘Dollshouse’ view – a detailed floor plan layout allowing you to focus on the desired room or area of the property.

We can create the tours for any property of any size, budget dependent and use the 360° tours as part of our comprehensive marketing plans. To operate the Matterport technology, we employ a qualified and professional team with whom we have a long-standing relationship, to come into our client’s homes and complete the work. For a large chateau this can take a whole day, or for an apartment it typically requires two hours of work.
