The house has a beautiful courtyard planted with lavender and climbing roses, a terrace for outdoor dining and several outbuildings in the cellars. On the other side of the village's small street is the garden with terraced lawns and views of the bucolic French countryside, which is also part of the property.

The village is very popular with artists and has no shortage of historical monuments, including a sublime Romanesque church, a commandery, a wash house and many beautiful old houses. The village has a charming café-restaurant. The nearest town for services and a supermarket is Ligueil, a 7-minute drive away. The beautiful historic town of Loches is a 20-minute drive away, with its castle and old town, two weekly markets selling fresh produce, restaurants, shops and services.

The city of Tours, with its high-speed train to Paris (55 minutes) or Charles de Gaulle Airport (1.5 hours), is a 1-hour drive from this charming village property in southern Touraine.
