Xavier ROUTURIER

Xavier comes from a family of winegrowers in the Blayais region; he holds a degree in management at the IFAG business school and a National Oenology Diploma (DNO) at ENSAT.

In 2010, Xavier started working in consulting and the distribution of oenological equipment, which gave him the opportunity to discover many wine regions around the world, Napa Valley in California, Stellenbosch in South Africa, Barossa Valley in Australia, Shandong in China, Douro in Portugal. In 2013 he joined the wine making team at the famous winery ‘Villa Maria’ in New Zealand and in 2014 went on to support the winemaker from a well-known Grand Cru Classé in the Margaux appellation.

In 2015, Xavier started as a consultant in vineyard transactions for the Bordeaux and Bergerac regions and has completed over twenty transactions. At the same time he has also developed a consultancy in vineyard management.

In 2021, he joined the team at Vineyards-Bordeaux as a vineyard transaction specialist, bringing a wealth of experience in vineyards and wine as well as technical expertise from working in the industry throughout his career.
