About Sophie
Originally from the region, Sophie chose to return to her roots when she settled in La Rochelle with her family in 2019. Today, she advises Maxwell-Baynes | Christie’s International Real Estate clients on both sales and acquisitions in La Rochelle and the surrounding area.
Her legal background gives her a particularly precise understanding of the issues involved in a property transaction.
Career
A qualified notaire, Sophie studied law at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University before spending seventeen years working within leading Parisian notarial practices. During this time, she developed extensive experience in both real estate and family law.
After moving to La Rochelle in 2019, Sophie turned to real estate and now brings this legal background to her clients.
Beyond Work
Sophie enjoys exploring the historical and natural heritage of Charente-Maritime with her family. She particularly enjoys walking along the coast and the beaches of the Île d’Aix, Île d’Oléron and Île de Ré, landscapes that form an important part of her attachment to the area.
