He subsequently worked in London as a coach within a luxury gym and private members' club, accompanying an international clientele through personalised coaching and lifestyle programmes. This experience strengthened his ability to listen, understand individual expectations and establish relationships built on trust.

His background in rugby, sports coaching and premium client services provided a natural foundation for his transition into luxury real estate in Bordeaux, where he developed his expertise in the local property market, advising French and international clients on the purchase and sale of exceptional homes.

Today, at Maxwell-Baynes | Christie's International Real Estate, Sebastian combines his international outlook, strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of Bordeaux and the surrounding region to deliver a bespoke real estate experience, placing lasting relationships at the heart of his approach.

Outside of real estate, Sebastian is passionate about sport, travel, architecture and the Bordeaux art de vivre.

With a background in rugby and sports coaching, sport has always been an important part of his life. He remains a keen rugby enthusiast, particularly enjoying the atmosphere and passion surrounding Union Bordeaux Bègles (UBB), as well as the values of teamwork, determination and camaraderie associated with the game.

Well-travelled and naturally curious, Sebastian enjoys discovering new destinations, cultures and ways of life. His international experiences have shaped his open-minded outlook and appreciation for meeting people from all walks of life.
He also has a strong interest in architecture, interior design and craftsmanship, particularly the character and history of Bordeaux's historic buildings and exceptional properties.
