About Kirsten
Based in Saint-Cyprien, near Sarlat, since 2003, Kirsten has an intimate understanding of the Dordogne, its property market and the architectural heritage that gives the region its distinctive character. With more than twenty years of experience, she advises both French and international clients on the sale and acquisition of character properties. Her results have earned her membership of the Christie’s International Real Estate Masters Circle.
Career
Kirsten’s connection to France began in childhood. She chose to study French Language and Literature at University College London. At eighteen, a journey through the Dordogne Valley introduced her to a region in which she could already imagine making her home.
She settled in Saint-Cyprien in 2003, began working in high-end real estate in 2006 and joined Maxwell-Baynes in 2014.
Beyond work
A Francophile since childhood, Kirsten’s relationship with the Dordogne extends far beyond her professional life. She chose to raise her three children there in a bilingual environment and particularly values its landscapes, rivers, architectural heritage, markets and regional produce.
