About Iris

Curious and versatile, Iris enjoys understanding how things work, learning and finding solutions. At Maxwell-Baynes | Christie’s International Real Estate, she supports agents in their day-to-day work and contributes across a wide variety of subjects, whether solving a problem or helping move a project forward.

This variety particularly suits the way Iris works. She enjoys days that are never quite the same, moving between different topics and interacting with a range of people. Human contact and the satisfaction of being genuinely useful to the team are central to her role.

Career

Iris holds a degree in Applied Foreign Languages, specialising in English and Spanish, and began her career in the tourism industry, where she worked for several years. Progressing from a trilingual reservations role to Sales Manager, she developed extensive experience in client relations, sales and coordination.

Throughout her career, she has also had opportunities to manage and train teams. Keen to explore a very different field and broaden her skill set, Iris subsequently earned a qualification in web development.

Joining Maxwell-Baynes marked a new chapter in this deliberately varied career. Today, she draws on her service mindset, adaptability and practical approach while continuing to discover the many facets of the real estate industry.

Beyond work

Photography and nail art are among the activities Iris enjoys in her free time, two very different creative outlets that reflect her interest in detail.

She also enjoys travelling and discovering new cultures. This interest in people, languages and different perspectives originally inspired her to study foreign languages, driven by a desire to communicate with people from around the world that remains very much part of her today.
