Chateau de Curzay sold to American film producer Kevin Wendle

The beautiful 18th Century chateau in Nouvelle-Aquitane was sold to the Los Angeles based producer and businessman, most renowned for his work on 90s TV show ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ starring Will Smith.

Wendle intends to restore and renovate the chateau over two years and transform it into a luxury hotel, ‘Hotel Esencia France’. The entrepreneur already owns Hotel Esencia in Mexico, a luxury beach resort which specializes in intimate personal experiences, and hopes to bring this luxury spirit to his new French chateau.
