Anthony MACKLE

Born in London, England, Anthony developed a passion for architecture and real estate from a young age and has dedicated over 20 years to the industry. A business graduate, Anthony began his career working for a multi award winning regeneration company, specializing in high end historic building conversions.

After many successful years overseeing more than £200 million in sales, Anthony was keen to utilize his knowledge and experience to deliver positive environmental change in the property market and joined a sustainable property developer. Leading the sales team, he had the opportunity to work with innovative homes that delivered eco living with zero emissions, allowing him to combine his passion for a greener environment with work. Anthony went on to hold two further Sales and Marketing Director positions at leading real estate firms in England, before deciding in 2020 to relocate to France with his family.

Settling near Saint-Emilion in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region, Anthony and his family quickly fell in love with ‘la joie de vivre’ that French culture has to offer; the food, the lifestyle, the charm of the Gironde region and of course ‘le bon vin’.  

Today, Anthony specializes in the sale of luxury chateaux and properties across the Saint-Emilion region of south-west France. With a vast portfolio of international and French clients, he works primarily within a network of confidential sales and off-market properties. He has a strong US broker network and spends much of his time working with the US market.

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys sports and has even found a local cricket team who play in the grounds of a famous Bordeaux chateau nearby. He also plays for his local football team, FC Saint Emilion. He can often be found at the beach or lake, building sandcastles with his family.
